This week I was making retro drum machine synth instrumentals, and acoustic instrument based instrumentals.

This is the acoustic-based collection, featuring fingerpicking, a fair bit of slide guitar, some mbira, a pinch of 12-string, and anything else I felt like at the time. Like field recordings.

These tracks are plagued by microphone noise, which is either one of my soundcards dying, or backfeed from my powered USB hub causing that soundcard grief. Some of the tracks have some horrible noise where the microphones were used as a result. I tried different microphones and leads, just to try and be sure what was causing it.
